The EEG machine has small wires called Electrodes with small metal disc.
They are placed on different area of scalp with tap. The wires with disc are in contact with Scalp area and not inserted into Scalp.
The wires are attached to computer which analyze brain electrical activities and displayed result as wave.
Usually this instrument doesn't have speaker.
It is used to support epilepsy like diagnosis.
