Brief Answer:
Sphenoid sinus infection is usually visualised on CT scan brain.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

In cases of moderate to severe infection of the sphenoid sinuses, the mucosal thickening and high attenuation collection within the sphenoid sinus can be visualised on CT scans. Bone destruction will also be visualised.

In mild sphenoid sinus infection, the findings might be limited to mild mucosal thickening.

So sphenoid sinus infection is usually visualised on CT scan brain.
