Brief Answer:
Vitamin B12 and folic acid supplements are required.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The bone marrow aspiration smears show megaloblastic change.
I suggest you get blood levels of vitamin B12 and folic acid.
In case vitamin B12 and folic acid deficiency are present, vitamin B12 and folic acid supplementation need to be given.
A repeat bone marrow aspiration after vitamin B12 and folic acid needs to be repeated.
Correction of megaloblastic reaction to normocytic in bone marrow suggests that the changes were due to nutritional deficiency.
However, if the megaloblastic changes persist after vitamin B12 and folic acid supplementation, then myelodysplastic syndrome need to be investigated by molecular testing.
Thanks and take care
