Yesterday Around Midmorning I Felt A Pinch Inside My Left
Question: yesterday around midmorning i felt a pinch inside my left cheek and then pain through my left side of my face. this continued and today my left jaw muscle is sore to touch and i cant really open it wide. also i my cheek inside and out and around the jawline is swollen.

There may be many causes for this swelling and pain of the jaw and the check. The most common is viral parotitis which is inflammation of the parotid gland. Continue to have oral feed. You can start tablet paracetamol,hot fomentation over the swelling. You can take some vitamin c tablet, have some jaw massage. If it is viral parotitis then it will resolve by its own with the above measures.
Also check your dentist because sometimes infection from teeth can cause infection of the surrounding glands and cause similar pain.
You can start an antibiotic augmentin,betadine gargle and antiallergic tablet levocetrizine.
Do an ultrasound neck and review with reports.
