11 Weeks Pregnant, Heavy Bleeding, Mild Cramps. Ultrasound Shows Normal Foetus. Indications Of Miscarriage?
hello I am 11 weeks pregnant I had some heavy bleeding yesterday morning. the bleeding has deminished to a light bleeding I went to see a doctor this morning and had an ultrasound performed I was told the fetus looks well and everything is normal. However I still have mild cramping and light bleeding should I be concerned? Are these indications of a miscarriage?
hello,
You are suffering from heavy to light vaginal bleeding with abdominal cramp in 11 wks pregnancy
As USG report for FPP is good enough & everything normal, then possibility of miscarriage (or may be threatened type- complete recovery possible) is also less.
If bleeding persists constantly, then you may need Micronised Progesterone Tab or Depot injection to prevent future miscarriage and support pregnancy. But it is not always 100% effective.
Continue folic acid supplements, protein rich diet, avoid long journey/heavy work, maintain personal hygiene, take complete bed rest. Be well and take care.
