11 Year Old On Birth Control

My cousin is on birth control and shes only 11!!! what do yall think about that. I think that is straight up rediculous!

There are reasons other than pregnancy protection for being on contraceptives. Extreme acne would be one, although 11 seems a little young for that problem. My guess is that she might have started her periods fairly early and was having some real issues with painful cramps and such. Rare in so young a girl, but not unheard of. John Jones, M.D.
