12 Month Daughter, Dent In Head Above Temple After Falling Down, Fussy. Given Motrin. Anything To Worry?

My 12 month old daughter fell while walking and hit her head on the leg of our dining table. When I picked her up there was a dent in her head just above the temple. She cried for 5 minutes and has been fussy the rest of the night. I have her Motrin and a bath. She's sleeping now. Should I be worried/ take her to the hospital? No vomiting, no concussion.

Hi thanks for using HCM.

History of fall. No loss of consciousness, No vomiting, no seizure, no head ache, and no concussion for a day. I think the dent you felt may be normal fissures (Bones joining place), or muscle attachment ending at that site. Examine her once more. If there is really a dent or if baby develops any of the above mentioned problem or unusual behaviour then take her to hospital for examination. Hope I clarified your query. Wish you good health. Take care.
