14 Month Baby, Drowsiness, Frequent Bowel Movement After Taking Practin To Increase Appetite. Normal?

greetings!!!
i have a 14 months old baby - as she was not having food properly, we have been told by the nearest peadtician to give 3 ml of Practin to increase the appetite. after giving my baby is falling very drowsiness and does potty every often.
Kindly suggest if this is common or should we consult the pediatrician.
