Hi,
Since your placenta has been shown to cover the os, your doctor may have warned you against exertion. A low-lying placenta at this stage usually moves up later on in pregnancy without causing any harm. Avoidance of sexual intercourse, stress and travel are the mandatory precautions to be taken when a low-lying placenta is detected. If your travel is inevitable, please discuss the same with your consultant and weigh the pros and cons. I would suggest postponement of journey until the placenta has moved up. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you safe motherhood.
