15 Month Old, Suffering From Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease, Having Lots Of Bumps.

Hi--my daughter has been helping to take care of a little 15 month old boy, who has just had hand, foot and mouth disease. He, apparently, has gotten more bumps & has a finger which was so bad that it is actually scabbed over from the nail bed to the knuckle. Can you think of anything that this poor child might have, or how he can be helped? Thank you, Marianne Beeson
