2 Month Son, Constipation. Is It Safe To Give Bonnisan? Dosage?

hi myself Reena Krishnappa just wanted to know is it ok to give himalaya company bonnisan to my 2months old son he dosnt poop for 3or 4 days ,past 3days he cries while taking feed and after feed from yesterday hiscry during feed continous after feed cry is reduced little how much ml of bonnisan should b given and when should it b given

Hi,thank you for your querry to HCM.It seems your son is having constipation which should be treated first to stop crying with simple measures like Lukewarm sugar water 15 ml at night and also early hours.Bonnisan treats hyperacidity as well flatulence which may be the cause for crying.2-3 ml may be given just 15 min.before feed,sometimes H2 blocker like Ranitidine may be given to treat the same.Because there are chances of aspiration of thin liquid like Bonnisan,it should be given very carefully to prevent aspiration.
