Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello,I have a feeling that she has taken a lot of medicines, Antibiotics by itself can cause diarrhoea as a side efffect. She has already taken metrogyl and taxim.I would probably do a stool test for ova.eggs and a culture for any microorganism. For trivial loose motion antibiotics is not advisable since most are viral.Zinc syrup for 10 days and possibly some probiotics ( econorm taken by your child) and rehydration with ORS would be enough for most loose motions. However if it still persist I would show her to a gastroenterologist ( pediatric if possible),thanks
