2 Year Old With Severe Abdominal Pain, Constipation, High Fever, Blood In Urine. Bowel Blockage Diagnosed. High Liver Enzymes

My daughter has had off and on spells of severe abdominal pain since easter and she had been seen in the ER for it and she had what they said was a small bowel blockage. She had another spell with the pain and constipation this week and everytime she has this pain and she runs a high fever like this time it got up to 103.7 and they ran a bunch of tests she had blood in her urine and high liver enzymes. What do you think this could be she is 2 years old.

Hi,

The reason for fever and pain in tummy seems to be related to the Renal System.
The cause for blood in urine and high liver enzymes will have to investigated a little bit more.

For the constipation the diet of your child should include a lot of fruits and high fiber containing veggies.The child should also should be given lots of fluid.

At present you need to discuss with the treating doctor to get the clarity on the cause of her problems.
