22 Month Old. Vomiting, Diarrhea, Night Sweats. Suggestion
22 month old daughter, sick since saturday... mostly occurs at night, both ate the same thing saturday both havent been feeling well since. However she vomited 5 times over weekend. Couldnt drink any milk, now can drink cows milk but the only way she will is if flavored with small amount of pediasure (was on almond milk before because of cows milk causing severe constipation) she gets up and plays after throwing up. had a second round of vomiting on tuesday x2. now having clay colored diarrhea. daughter walks around saying ouch. Still having we diapers x5-6 per day. daughter has night sweats also.
Waiting for so long is not a good idea for 22 month old person. You need to know that kids has much weaker organisms than adults. So any disease is much more dangerous for such young person. Vomiting and diarrhea leads to dehydration (you are not able to give her enough fluids when she vomits and has diarrhea) what can be life threatening. You may notice weakness, dry mouth and low urine amount in case of dehydration.
I suggest you to do not wait anymore and take your kids to the doctor and have stool tests and blood work done.
Hope this will help. Regards.
