2.8 Year Child, History Of Dengue Fever. What Is The Impact If He Gets It Second Time?
My son got dengue fever (dengue shock syndrome) at his 10 months of age. He went to shock and was in ICU on the ventilator. Doctors ( I can say angels in the form of doctors) saved his life. He is fine now. At present he is 2.8. Recently we have changed our rental house. After changing the house we are biting by many mosquitos which are having white banded legs. We are taking care of if. What is the impact on if he gets the dengue second time? ( I am praying the god that it should not happen). Kindly suggest me urgently.

dengue has a wide spectrum.from a simple viral fever being cured of its own, it can be fatal with shock and dengue hemorrhagic fever.so next time what spectrum will effect your baby no one knows.so its better to avoid it.dengue mosquitos mostly breed in clean standing water so dont let any such water to remain around you.they bite in day time so if you child is sleeping in day time thn also put mosquito net or use mosquito repellents.prevention is better thn cure
