Hi,
the swelling on your forehead is due to the sun burn.
ultraviolet lights that cause sunburns actually hurt our skin cells. Our immune system sees this as a threat and reacts. The swelling is one of the signs of inflammation. The mechanism of this immune system reaction is very complex. the swelling is caused by the release of water and healing molecules from the blood stream in the sunburned area. When the skin heals, the swelling will go away.
to promote faster healing u can do the following
1.Cool affected area with damp cloths or take a cool shower
2.Take a cool bath with a half cup of baking soda in the water
3.Apply
aloe vera gel to the burned area 2-3 times a day. Do not apply greasy lotions such as baby oil or
ointments - they can make the burn worse by sealing in the heat
4.Avoid further sun exposure to the affected area (cover or use sunscreen, hats)
5.Rest in a cool, quiet room
6.Drink plenty of water
7.tab
chymoral plus(if u have pain)
see a near by doctor only if you develop blisters or you are in severe pain
next time when you know ur goin for long hours in sun use a sunblock with spf 50 & use caps.
