I am 35 weeks pregnant and 2cm dilated and was told by my midwife that i am going into labor very soon. I have been having frequent urination ana bowel movements(not loose) i have also been discharging more than usual and had yellow mucous in my urine . I have also been having irregular contractions. I just want to know am i in labor or is it false?
You may be in labor or may not be. Preterm birth is termed when a baby is born before 37 completed weeks.
A cervical dilatation of 3cm or more with frequent uterine contractions is a good sign showing that you are progressing into the first stage of labor.
I do not think you are in active labor now. A complete assessment of Bishop's score is required in you. A bishop's score of >6 is favorable. Please ask your midwife about your score.
Hope this helps.
