Hello... im 35 weeks pregnant and my inner thigh/side of my vagina is painful and feels like some lumps are going to come, I have had it for about a week now and I get a tad smelly down there its not anything to do with my inner vagina its my inner thigh, I have had a look down there and theres nothing visible wrong, thanks for any help!
Hi, Thanks for the query. With progression of the gestational age, the size of the uterus increases. It can exert pressure on the abdominal blood vessels, lower abdomen and thighs. That can lead to edema of the tissues. May be because of that you are feeling as swelling at inner thighs. Sometimes infections can lead to enlargement of the lymph nodes. Those can be felt at at the groin region. So, you once consult gynecologist and get examined to find out the exact cause. Check for blood pressure, as hypertension can lead to increased edema of the tissues. Sleep in left lateral position, this will decrease pressure over blood vessels. Decrease salt intake. Take care.
