3.5 Year Old Daughter, Brown Spot On Stomach, Slightly Raised
Hi there I have a daughter who is 3 and a half, I recently realised she has a brown spot like thing on her stomach it is slightly raised on one side, I read up and seems to be a mole, it isn't a full circle it's more like an oval but it isn't exactly that shape, please advise as I am very worried, she has had it for some time I can't really remember how long but it only got my attention today.
As you mentioned your daughter has a brown spot on her stomach which seems to you to be like a mole.
If she has any of the following signs or symptoms, then you should have her doctor examine the spot sooner than later: 1. Recent onset of fever. 2. The Brown spot is increasing in size, changing colors. 3. New rash elsewhere in the body. 4. Recent onset of headache, joint pains, abnormal behavior, itching or pain on the area of the spot. 5. Really worrisome to you.
If none of the above is present and if it is not bothersome to her, then you can get it examined by her pediatrician next time you go for her health check up.
