35 Year Old With Severe Pain In The Scrotum, Nodules Present, Itching And Pain. Pus Formation. Reason?
Hello ! I am 35 years old. I am suffering from this below mentioned problem since last 3 years. I have extreme electric shock type pain in my scrotum . Very often I have intense itching and pain and nodules or rashes all over my scrotum. Sometimes even pus accumulates. I am suffering from allergy too. Please recommend me a medication as I am too shy to show my private parts to any doctor.
Hi ! The symptoms which you have described goes more in favour of Herpetic infection of the scrotal skin, possibly with secondary bacterial infection. You may have to take anti viral with an anti bacterial antibiotic as well and some local anti viral ointment. However fungal infection may co-exist. I am not aware how sexually active you are. In that case you may have to go for many other investigations. I will suggest you to visit a Dermatologist in your area before starting any treatment. Before that you have to be confident that you are a patient and you have to go to a doctor for relieving your problem. Then all your hesitancy will vanish, and you can go to a doctor for consultation.
