Hello
welcome to health care magic
Hemophilia has two types one is hemophilia A and another 1 is hemophilia B..
hemophilia A is characterized by partial or complete deficiency of factor VIII
It is an X-linked recessive disorder characterized by recurrent bleeds in nose,GIT,bleeding into joints, prolonged bleeding from injuries,,increased menstrual loss if the chil is girl at the time of
puberty etc..
depending upon the levels it is classified into mild and severe
In mild cases
desmopressin is used,,
It cause release of Factor VIII from the blood vessels.
But in severe cases you may need blood transfusions containing factor VIII.
There is no evidence that after the age of 18 the levels will increase..
Consult hematologist for further suggestions and treatment..
Hope you understand my answer
Thank you
