4.5 Year Old, Suffering From Typhoid. Taking Taximo, Monocef Injections, Veins Blocking. Substitute For Injections?
Sir, my son is 4.5 years old and he is suffering from typhoid from last 25 days. From last 5 days after completing the course of Taxim-O for 7 to 10 days, he is taking injection Monocef 750mg and Ofloxacin 200mg BD. He has already taked 5days dose of these injection and now his veins are blocking and he is feeling pain while taking injection. So, pls suggest any subsitute of these injection so that we can take it orally. Thanks
Welcome to HCM Greetings of the day If your child is asymptomatic and there is no Fever then there appears no need of giving the drug intravenously instead oral drug will be better. Oral Ofloxacin can be used. Take Care regards
