5 Days Late Periods, Dizziness. Trying To Conceive. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Possibility Of Pregnancy?

My husband and I are trying to conceive. The first day of my last period was Sept. 17. As of today I am now 5 days late. I had a spell of dizziness a couple of weeks ago. I am not having any cramping or any other symptoms. I took a hpt yesterday morning with a negative result. Is it possible that I am pregnant but my hcg isn't registering yet?

Hello ma'am.

Yes it is possible, some women return a negative HPT even 2 months into pregnancy. But if you have had irregular periods from the start and this is not the first time, I wiuld advise you to wait a while longer.
