5.5 Year Child, Wearing Cylindrical Power Spectacles. Can This Be Rectified After 18 Years?

My child age 5.5 has cyldrical power of left eye -2.5 and right eye -3. we jus found it today. she is asked to use glasses. will it become severe when she grows or will it decrese in any chance.....after she is 18 can any teartment be done.....im really worried ..... pls suggest me something.shd i go for a second opnion...

It is Myopia which may increase as the age advances,but you need not worry as now-a-days,Laser keratatomy can be performed to avoid glasses.You consult an Ophtholmologist for further advice.
