6 Months Pregnant. Everything Seems Alright Except Swelling In Legs. How Long Can Work Be Continued And Any Special Precautions To Be Taken?
Hello I am going through the end of 6 months.I am working in an IT sector.I would like to want that what are the pre cautions i
have to take during 7th month of pregnancy and also want to know still how many days i want to continue my work.Actually i want to know from when i apply for leave.6th month is going and i had my check up with a doctor and he said everthing is seem to be ok.But i notice that for last 2 weeks my legs are swelling .is it natural or i have to take care for it .Kindly suggest.
Hello, Thanks for the query, congratulations for becoming pregnant. Swelling during pregnancy is normal, unless it is associated with high BP, then it could be a pathological i.e PRE-ECLAMPSIA, if other pathological causes are ruled out then no need to worry( rule out anemia with hypoprotenemia, heart disease). You can take a break after 8 months, but keep checking your BP regularly and have regular Ante-natal care. Hope I answered your question, Kindly reply me if you have any further queries or any comments. I will be very happy to help you. Sincerely, Dr Arif You can consult me again directly through my profile http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-arif-n-khan/65133
