6 Week Pregnant, Want To Abort. How To Use Mefegest And Mefepristol 4 Tablets For This ?

hi my wife is 6 week 4 days pregnant i have baby of 9 months still right know no one of my family member and both dont want baby this time so i had consulting to hospital and did ultrasound and kit checkup and after it was cleared my wife is pregnent but my baby is taking milk of his mom. so please give me idea how to use mefegest and mefepristol 4 tablets for abortion

Hello,
Medical abortion can be done max 7-9wk of gestation completely. You can use medication in the following way but always under supervision of gynecologist to avoid unnecessary excessive vaginal bleeding.
First take Tab Mifepristone (Mefegest) 200mg (ideally 600mg) on D1, after 48 hrs take 2 Tab Misoprostol (Mefepristol) 200mg in the morning and under supervision of your doctor. You may need double dose sometimes in case of delaying to start bleeding.
Soon after taking Tab Misoprostol, abdominal cramp and vaginal bleeding start within 7 days and next period may be earlier/delayed.
Post pill abortion, do a USG lower abdomen to check retained bits/conceptional products if any and may need D &C to complete abortion.
Practice safe sex by using safe period/OCP/Em pill/other methods to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
