good evening. 6 weeks baby crying , first reason for such cry is hunger cry, secondly as the crying episode builds up there can be aerophagy, that is swallowing air and air being trapped in the childs abdomen, so the crying increases. during this time u should not loose patience, just try feeding the child till he calms down, if not give him neopeptine drops , 8 to 10 drops orally, he should be feeling better after 1 hr or so , if not check other causes of pain - insect bite , ear pain, urine retention, stool retention, oral ulcers, diaper rashes, fever . consultation with a paediatrician is of utmost importance.
