Hi
some times this happen to patient who underwent any heart related intervention , but usually it more of psychological than actual
i advice that you should help him in form of giving positive thought and starting gradual exercise program
start few min. of walking inside the house on ground level atleast 3-4 times a day then increase to 10 min walk inside home ,then go out near by and you also go with him , and slowly over a few weeks increase walking to 20 -30 min a day
dont forget to take your medicine regularly
i thing he will be alright
