hello, my mother in law who is 75yrs old and diagnosed with PSP and MSA for last 5-6 yrs. she is a hospice pt. and for last 7 days she has on and off fever ranging from 100.5 to 103 high side and 96 low side the question i have is she has been depositing black particles in her urine she also has catheter. what is the reason for black deposit
Hi!. Thanks for your query. When was the catheter changed last time. If its already a long time get it changed. Otherwise you can try flushing with water and see if the particles are still coming. These black particles may be deposits which have stagnated in the bladder. Try the above said suggestion and observe. Sholuld be benefitted. Take care.
