77 Year Old With Nausea, Bloating, Headaches. History Of Hypertension And High Cholesterol. Stomach Viral Infection?
Hello my dad is in the hospital was admitted Saturday..... He's been saying for awhile he does not feel well...he is 77 and in good health other than Bp and cholesterol....having bad headaches,body aches and nousea.....he looks bloated and swollen he throwing up but it is clear he is eating very little at night his temp spikes at 103....the doctor says he has some form of stomach virus and that he looks good but he's not getting better....as of right now there giving him anti nausea med and Tylenol..... Worried any opinion is appreciated.....thanks
Hello, Thanks for posting the question to H.C M. Forum. Since, how many days ,your father having high blood pressure and high cholesterol level, please mention. In 77 years patient hypertension and hyper-cholestrolaemia are in itself a serious condition. High blood pressure ( particularly diastolic i.e.low blood pressure) cause headache, nausea, fullness in stomach ( bloating). As far as concerned about fever 2-3 vomiting usually develops fever ( rise in temperature ). If possible upload various reports. Good luck. Dr. HET
