8 Weeks Pregnant. Vomited A Red Chunk Of Blood. Throat Hurts A Lot. What Could It Be?

I m about 8 weeks pregnant, I had severe morning sickness but I was prescribed maxeran for that, my nausea got better and I was able to go without it for about 4 days. Then today out of nowhere I threw up, it was very painful and by the end I threw up this chunk of red and it was a large chunk about the size of a qu8arter. My throat hurts alot now and I m wondering what just happened!!!! I m very worried please help!!!

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Sometimes vomitings can lead to damage of esophageal mucosa.
That can lead to presence of blood in the vomitings.
So, you can restart your antiemetic with your doctor's advice.
And can take analgesic and anti - inflammatory drugs to decrease the pain and irritation in the throat.
Once check for blood pressure.
If everything is normal, no need to worry.
Possibly this vomitings will subside after intake of antiemetics.
Avoid hot dietary items till the pain subsides.
Decrease oil and salt in diet.
Include fruits, milk etc in diet.
Take care.
