8 Weeks Pregnant, Bout Of Food Poisoning, Vomiting, Diarrhea With Blood. Emergency Condition?

Hi. I am currently about 8 Weeks pregnant. I recently (as of two days ago) had a bout with what I believe was food poisoning . The vomiting has stopped, but the diarrhea has not. Today there was blood in my diarrhea. I m not one to get easily worried or worked up but I m slightly worried! Should I wait until Monday to see my doc or go to a clinic tomorrow?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
In food poisoning, it is common to have diarrhea and the recurrent bouts of diarrhea can be associated with a mild bleeding. You need to consult your physician for proper antibiotics and supportive treatment to avoid dehydration.
