9 Month Baby, Taking Nido Milk From 5 Months, No Teeth, Not Crawling. Is It Because Of Nido Milk?
Hi I have a 9 month old baby and I have been giving her Nido powder milk since she was around 5 months old she is always being on the heavy side but not obese to which her doctor says she will grow out of it, my concern is that she dosen't have any teeth yet, dosen't want to crawl, all she likes to do is sit or stand up can any of this delays be because of the milk?
If Nido milk is a baby formula milk that is recommended for her age group then there should be no problems with giving it. Some of the milks from Nido are for children over than 1 yr of age, if this is the milk that she is using it would not be appropriate for her age because it these milks may contain substances that she would not be able to break down , it may also be missing other important elements she would get from a baby formula. It would be important, if this is the one that she is using to change to a baby formula, up to a year milk is the most important part of a baby's diet.
At nine months she should also be using crushed foods.
Babies develop at different paces, if she is sitting up and standing then it proves that she has muscle strength. Some babies just decide to skip the crawling and go straight to walking and if she is already standing like you stated, then she may do this.
