AHM Low, Retroverted Uterus, Taken Siphene, Still Not Conceiving. Laproscopy Suggested. Is It Advisable?

hi, i am 28yrs old married for last 3yrs, and trying to conceive for last 2yrs, i have never used any oral contraceptives. Also after all my studies, it was found that my hormones are all balanced, sugar levels are also ok, fallopian tubes are open, but AMH was found to be a little low. but i am always ovulating (confirmed via follicular monitoring). And i also have a retroverted uterus (which my gyno says is not a problem). My gyno gave me siphene, with which i am ovulating two eggs. but still i am not able to conceive. Also endometrial thickness is also always good and above 9.5-10. in the last cycle we tried IUI which was unsuccessful. now my gyno is asking me to get a laproscopy done. please suggest whether i should go for the surgery or should i be considering some other methods of conception. Also advice, if all my reports are normal why is this surgery required.

hi.. you have problem with conception.. you have AMH low, it suggest antral follicle and ovarian reserve, and it doesnot indicate the quality of egg.. you have tried with clomiphene citrate and intrauterine insemination which has not helped.. your doctor has advised laparoscopy procedure to see the states of tubes, endometriosis... it is not a surgical procedure, it is a simple diagnostic procedure... if you are not willing for this procedure.. then you may have to go for IVF (invitrofertilization)... discuss with your infertility specialist.. all the very best..
