Hi and welcome to HCM!
Thanks for posting your query here.
During the last trimester-7,8,and 9 months- the uterus starts contracting. It is a normal physiological process. They are called as false labour pains. They are not associated with the progress of the delivery. The true labour pains will happen nearing to the delivery date or if the amniotic fluid is drained or any discharge comes out of the vagina. The true pains will be constant and passes over the whole abdomen. So your pains are false labour pains. The main thing you have to do is to check the foetal movements and any leakage of fluid from the vagina.
Head down position is a normal and common presentation of the baby. In this case complications during the delivery will be less.
Hence you dont worry and take rest. If any signs like leakage of fluid or decrease of movements of the baby or constant and severe pains please visit your doc without delay.
I wish you a happy motherhood.
Regards
