Abnormal And Inconsistent Bowel Movements. What Can Help Solve The Issue?
I have a problem going to the bathroom (BM) in general. However, I've noticed that every month during my period this problem goes away. I'm able to have a BM a few times a day instead once or twice every few weeks. What can I do to solve this problem once and for all. It's very frustrating. When not on my period, I have to take something daily in order to have a BM. If I don't take anything, I can go for 2 weeks without a BM.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
You need to make your bowel movements regular. You can take diet rich in fiber contents like fruits and vegetables, stool softener or lubricant laxative to have minimum one bowel movement in 2 days. Regular exercise and adequate sleep is necessary. Medical evaluation for the cause of constipation should be done when constipation is of sudden onset, severe, worsening, associated with other worrisome symptoms such as loss of weight, or is not responding to simple, safe treatments.
Hope this helps you
Regards
