Abnormal Breathing Technique, Nasal Voice, Inflammation. Help
Hi! I'm a worship leader in my church and over the past week it seems I can not get my breathing technique right when I'm singing. I even at times when talking find that some of my speech is very nasally. Not stuffy but feel inflamed? I don't know if that makes any sense. Can you give me advice? am singing over the next 2 weeks. Thanks. Teresa
Hi, It seems that you might be having some infection or lump on your vocal cord giving you this problem. consult ENT surgeon and get examined. Indirect laryngoscopy will help. Meanwhile give complete rest to your vocal cord. Do antiseptic gargles. Avoid fried, junk food and cold drinks. Ok and take care.
