Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Transient numbness can be experienced due to constant pressure on a particular part of the body. For example, if you sleep only on your shoulder, you will experience numbness of the part supplied by the supraclavicular, radial and other nerves of the area. When you nurse a baby, it is common for you to adopt odd postures and this is the most common cause for the numbness. Nevertheless, you should take the opinion of a physician to rule out organic causes. Watch your posture, do fitness exercises and take adequate rest. Hope this helps.
