Hello doctor, I was prescribed for Glycomet 500 mg in the morning and 250 mg in the night as i was suspected with poly cyst. After taking medication, iam getting red discharge daily and iam not getting my regular periods. Please advise me what to do...

Polycystic ovarian disease is characterized by such irregular bleeds. It is not a side effect of Glycomet 500 intake. Cyclical hormonal treatment is needed to manage such troublesome bleeding. Please consult a gynecologist.
