After Taking Dukan Have Been Noticing Swelling & Pain At The Shin
hi my partner and i have been on the dukan (high protein diet) for a couple of months. We are both getting throbbing in one of our shins down to the foot, some swelling and pain that makes it difficult to sleep. also some bruising. could the diet be doing that to us?

swelling and bruising over single shins rule out any systemic effect causing such problems.
high protein diet can cause kidney stone and kidney disease, which ultimately cal cause swelling in lower limbs. but both limbs involved.
but here one limb is involved, rule out the kidney disease by doing renal function tests.
if it arrive normal, then cause is any physical rather than bodily.
