Air Pouch Formed Behind The Eye From Injury To Cheek During Dental Procedure. Advised Hot Pack, No Relief

Before two days i was treated for a faulty bridge by a dentist. During removal an instument injured my internal cheek. It was bleeding so dr injected in my mouth to avoid pain and sensation. After that he removed the bridge. After two hours i was looking that is senation is there or i can take some food so i make my mouth with air within a second the air inserted in my cheek and behind my eye like a balloon i imidiately called dr he said to apply ice on it and take icecream and ceftum500mg but till morning there is no change. So next day he gave me dexona 4mg iv and said after consulting his friend that it will recover in two days apply hot bottle of water on cheek. I did thete is some recovery but uptill i m not sure. Please guide thanks

Hello,
It seems from the history that you had injury during a dental procedure for which air was injected, it might have gone into one of the paranasal sinuses surrounding the eye.
As your doctor has tightly told this will decrease in 2 to 3 days.
Since you are alread6 on treatment with antibiotics and steroids this will take care of inflammation.
If the symptoms won't come down by 4 days need to consult your doctor.
