Am I Having Hyperthyroidism?

I am a 60 years old female. I had a complete health check-up on 1st October 2012, and my thyroid profile was :
Free T4 - 0.94
TSH - 0.44
I was told to repeat the test again in 3 months to check for early hyperthyroidism. I would like to know if I have hyperthyroidism and if so, what can be done about it.

Hello...
According to your report, suggestive of borderline hyperthyroidism. In this case, clinical details are very important to start the therapy.
According to your details, it seems that you went for routine checkup. No clinical symptoms are there.
In summary, with your report, if clinical symptoms are there ( e.g. anxiety, weight loss, increase appetite, decrease sleep, tremors, restlessness ) then better to start Antithyroid drug in low dose i.e. Tab Neomercazole 10 mg twice a day associated with Tab Propanolol 40 mg.
But if with this report no clinical symptoms are there then better to wait to start therapy and repeat Thyroid profile after 1-2 months to see the report.

Thank You
