I had pancreatic cancer, put a very good prognosis. It was not in any lymph nodes or surrounding tissue. There was no need for Chemo, and that was 6 months ago. I had to have 70 % of my pancreas removed and lately I have been checking my sugar to check for diapetes. In the mornings 8 or more hours after i ate it will be between 124-137. Then I will feel sick and kinda funny and check it and it was 90.... then later that evening I wil eat dinner and check it 2 hours after dinner and it will be 148..... There have a few times that the readings were 114-120 two hours after my meal. I don't know if I need to go on and go to my Doctor or just continue to do what I am doing. Should I have further testing? I had none after my surgery I was just told to watch it. They did give me insulin while I was in the Hospital and at that time I was just receiving IV fluids for 9 days and it was around 150.
