Am I Losing My Weight Due To The Side Effect Of Glyciphage 250?
I was advsed to take doses oof Glyciphage 250 1 tab. in morning ( after breakfast ) & 1/2 after dinner asI haveblood sugar (fasting 120-130 ) ( pp -100 to 120 ) since last 2 years .My Ht.5 ft 6inches Wt .64kg 2yrs back but now Wt has reduced to 59Kgs Is it due to side effect of Glyciphage250 ?

Although,the most common side effcts of metformin are primarily gastrointestinal in nature like nausea,vomiting,diarrhoea,pain abdomen etc but in some people it can result in weightloss also.Other reason of weightloss in you could be uncontrolled diabetes also.
