Am I Pregnant With An Echogenic Focus Of 3.4mm Seen In The Cavity?
Hi Doctor, I Had undergone A TVS last week Coz I had terrible pain in my periods that I got on the 28th of March.My Endometrial Thickness is 4.2mm & there is a small echogenic focus of 3.4mm seen in the cavity.Is there a possibility that I m Pregnant.I have been getting spotting at regular intervals.

1.Ultrasound test will never interpret pregnancy as echogenic focus, early pregnancy always seen as anechoic cystic area.
2.It could be proliferative phase, near to the periods. so it is looking like echogenic area.
3.Other causes would be endometritis, fungal infection, bacterial cause.
4.You should evaluate the hormonal levels.
