Ankle Sprain, Knee Bruising After Fall. Pain Under Breast. Reason?

I fell hard while out running. I sprained my left ankle, bruised bith knees and my right hand . I had X-rays of my ankle and hand. 24 hours later I started feeling pain right under my right breast . It comes on sudden when I move certain ways. I can massage the are to make it feel better. Could this pain be from the fall?

Radiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

Sorry to hear about your fall and injury.

Breast tissue is largely fat and it is attached to the chest wall by supporting ligaments and overlies the chest wall muscles. You might be experiencing the pain when there is certain movement of your torso and the underlying ligaments and breasts. Please examine yourself and look for any reddish or bluish discoloration of skin in the region and take oral pain killers and apply muscle relaxant and pain reliever ointment.

Your pain is due to the fall and will get better in a few days.

Hope this helps
