Any Chances Of Conceiving When Having 2 Follicles Of 18.5, 14?
hi i went through iui this cycle and my endo was 11 and i had only 2 follicles one was 18.5 and the other was only 14 so i want to know wat is the success rate with these readings and wat r my chances of conceiving should i take any precautions to conceive after iui
Usually the success rate of intrauterine insemination (IUI) is around 20% according to the literature. According to your follicular study reports endometrial thickness of 11 mm, can be considered as normal and good. Usually IUI is planned when the ovum reaches around 2 cm size and by giving the serum beta hCG injection to triggering the ovulation. Hopefully your doctor might have followed this.
Now you have to wait and watch for the result. If the serum beta hCG levels are more than 5 mIU/mL it indicates the possibility of pregnancy, whereas more than 25 mIU/mL confirms the possibility of pregnancy. Please discuss these things with your gynecologist and proceed accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
