Any Help For Smoker Suffering From Chronic Bronchitis With Trouble In Breathing?
Hi there.. I have chronic bronchitis and smoke and I am having hard time breathing anymore..i m trying to quit smoking but easier said than done...I cannot sleep at night coughing and am up all night..tired all the time from no sleep please help me

hi dear , your symptoms are due to bronchoconstriction .
1. Smoking cessation is must .
2.superimposed infection (bacterial) can cause breathlessness . Antibiotics should be consider.
3. bronchodilator administration will help airway to expand .And reduce breathlessness .
please see you physician for proper management
you can even start with nebulization with salbutamol plus theophylline if you can't reach hospital today, at least you will better in breathing .
