Any Ideas About Discomfort During Urination After Unprotected Sex?
I'm 36 years old and I had unprotected sex back around Christmas time the 23rd of December. Then four days later my penis felt a little weird tingle so I went on the 16th of January to get checked. The tested me for clamidia and gonarea and it came back negative. So I don't have any discharge and it doesn't hurt when I urinate but it feels uncomfortable after I urinate and then goes away. Any ideas?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Unprotected sex has the risk of transmitting sexually transmitted disease (STD). Since, the tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea have come out to be negative, these infections are ruled out. However, you still feel uncomfortable while urinating. To find out the cause, you need to get urine and semen examination done. These two tests will detect the presence of infection in the genitourinary tract. The two tracts communicate so infection of one can cause discomfort in the other tract. Infection besides STD can be the cause of discomfort. Avoid unprotected sex till the cause of discomfort is found out.
