Any Medication To Control Mind As No Intercourse Has Occurred Even After Long Years Of Married Life?

Hi...My fried is having a troubled life after marriage. Its been 4 years since she has been married and she has not even once allowed her husband to insert during intercourse. She has some problem or may be a mental block that she gets violent and doesn't let him do anything. Foreplay seems to be fine but insertion never happened. They have consulted gynecologists and has taken everything ranging from some lubricant gel to painkillers, but nothing seems to work for her. Her marriage is under severe trouble. Can you please prescribe some sedatives or something to control her mind. Since I see it more as a mental problem than a gynecological issue. She and her husband are 30 years old healthy individuals.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that it is related to psychological issues though there are also other possible causes.
There is a condition called vaginismus where insertion into the vagina is very painful for the woman. It is due to spasm of a particular muscle when insertion is attempted making it very painful and impossible for the woman.

The spasm of this muscle is not consciously controlled.

It can occur due to psychological or physical factors.

It may be best to consult a sex therapist clinic. There would likely perform both a physical and psychological assessment and institute the appropriate treatment.

I hope this helps
